"I'm a forty-something woman, following her bliss. One day, someone in my office asked what I'd do
if I won the lotto. Without pausing to think, I blurted out: "MAKE BEAUTIFUL CAKES!" For weeks, I couldn't stop thinking of my response. It seemed so random! But, as I sat in an office, miserable, in
a job I promised myself I'd never do (because I knew it would make me miserable), I realized
something had to change. I had let myself be talked into something. This time, I was going to listen
to my instincts. My declaration about making beautiful cakes came from somewhere deep within, as
creating sumptuous cakes is my passion. I decided to listen to my instincts, get out of my former
industry, and Marneycakes was born."
